Chimney Rock Under the Milky Way

My introduction to Capitol Reef upon arriving was to scout out Chimney Rock for Milky Way alignment. With the Milky Way being very vertical in late mid September, I was hoping to align the rock formation with the beauty of the Milky Way core. And, as you can see, it was amazing. A few headlights from the nearby road enhanced the shadows on the rocks.
